Morven Roberts

Morven Roberts has a scientific background in immune-parasitology and following an MSc and Phd at London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, has undertaken research in South America, Africa and India. She is now a programme manager with the UK Medical Research Council (MRC) which provides public funding for research, across the entire spectrum of medical sciences, in universities and hospitals, in its own units, centres and institutes in the UK, and in its 2 units in Africa.  Morven currently works with the MRC Infection and Immunity Board and is responsible for the global health infections portfolio including the 2 MRC Units in Africa.   She also works with the MRC Global Health oversight Group on the MRC portfolio of global health trials.
